While in the field this summer, I have come across several examples of neon orange in the landscape.  I am not quite sure of the reasoning for it, but it is defiantly an attention grabber.  Clockwise from the top examples include the Cafe at the Moderna Museet in Malmo, Sweden, newly constructed canal front row houses with orange shutters in Copenhagen, a glass vase by popular Scandinavian design company Iittala, Chuck Taylor Converse from a shop on Stroget, Copenhagen, the exterior of the Moderna Museet, and an emergency ladder in another area of new construction.  I am curious to hear your thoughts on the neon orange phenomenon.  Please take a few seconds and vote in the quick poll box below.
