This past Saturday islanders came out in joyous force to celebrate the annual Living Local Harvest Fest at the Agricultural Hall in the town of West Tisbury.  The event lasted all day and was a celebration of all things local.   As interns, we set up and managed the Martha’s Vineyard Commission booth.  In an effort to promote interaction, we asked four opinion based questions related to renewable energy and the Vineyard.  As people approached the booth, they dropped beans in the jars that answered the questions best for them.  The weather was perfect for the highly anticipated pumpkin chucking trebuchet.  To end the day of celebration, the community gathered for a muilti-generational potluck prepared with local ingredients.   It was a great event to be a part of.

Live well and be well,

Tim
