The Oak Bluffs plant palette is anchored in herbaceous boarder gardens.  Small lot sizes limit garden beds to surrounding porches, walks, and lot lines.  Compared to the Edgartown plant palette, the gardens of Oak Bluffs take a free form approach and use color throughout planting schemes instead of  reserving the use of color for accent as seen in Edgartown.  The bold color selections of the plant material reflect the multitude of color combinations of the architectural detailing of homes in the area.

Enjoy,

Tim
